Last week I had the privilege of doing a wedding shoot with my two good friends, Shannon and Justin, here in Austin, TX. Okay… so they were actually married a number of years ago but they knew I needed some wedding practice so were willing to be my guinea pigs.
I asked them where they wanted to do the shoot, and being the dedicated political activists I know, the only possible choice in their minds was the Texas Capital. Shannon said they couldn’t come to the capital without a sign so they created the “love” sign for me to photograph with them. I thought it was brilliant and such a perfect reflection of them and their personalities.
In the two hours we were there, I ended up with about 150 images for them to enjoy. Below are a few of my favorites from the shoot. And I thank Shannon and Justin for allowing me to capture on film the love they have for eachother. Really great experience!
